She received her small business certificate from Fox Valley Technical College, her cosmetology licensing from Empire Beauty School, her cosmetology managerial licensing from Madison, Wisconsin, and Advanced Hair Care and Mastery Stylist Certificate from Dudley School of Hair Design in Chicago, Illinois. She loves the Lord and believes that if you take care of his needs, he will take care of yours. First Lady Carla A. In 2012 the Lord gave me a vision.

I was on a popular news show sitting on the couch talking to the reporter. I still looked very much how I do now just smaller in weight but around my mid 40's. As she was interviewing me I remember looking over her shoulder at the two friends that I brought with me for support. One of my friends was a woman who was currently attending another church and the other woman I could see her silhouette but not her face. I knew she was African American with a large afro natural hairstyle. She was thin in stature and taller than my other friend. I remember the reporter saying that the book had helped so many women and how well it did in such a short time, (I was very humble in the vision and gave God all the glory for the book).

At the time of the vision I had just stepped into owning my own business. It was in the beauty industry and I had ventured on my own with pure faith in God. I begin to put things in place and tried desperately to see how this vision would come into place. In 2017, I started writing my first draft for the book. After realizing this is a lengthy process, I begin to allow God to give me ideas, in His timing. I would wake up at 6:00am like clockwork and begin writing. I started telling friends and family what I was working on and everyone seemed to be excited for me but I always gave God the glory when talking to everyone, even those who were not in church. God also showed me that this book was the first of seven. I am currently working on book 2 and 3. So far the titles are, “Parenting with a Godly Purpose”, and “Precious Promises”! One about parenting children and one about marriages.

The other day I almost started crying because God revealed to me that I  first  had  the  vision

in  2012  and  completed  the  work in 2019, which  is  seven  years,  (seven  is  the  number

of completion). I love it when He blows my mind like that! I always say it but it's true, who wouldn't serve a God like this!  Please continue to pray for me and I will always pray for God's people. By the grace of God, I still continue to thrive and grow and have been put in a position to help others see the goodness of the Lord. Make a point to do what you can to make a difference in your home, community and this world.
